Our Expertise
Mark Youssef
Partner (Accredited Specialist in Family Law)
Mark Youssef has been an accredited specialist in family law since 2011 as well as an adjunct lecturer in the Master of Applied Law (family law) program at the College of Law NSW.
He was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in 2005 and later the High Court of Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Macquarie University, majoring in philosophy/political science, and a Master of Law and Legal Practice from the University of Technology, Sydney, majoring in family law.
The Law Society of NSW previously appointed Mark a member of the Specialist Accreditation Family Law Advisory Committee in 2014/15, 2016/17 and 2018/19 as well as the Family Law Committee in 2018 and 2019, which reviews legislation
and government policy.
Alex Bourne
Senior Associate (Accredited Specialist in Family Law)
Alex practices almost exclusively within Family Law, where he has extensive experience and knowledge in all family law related matters, including Property, Parenting , Divorce, LGBTI property settlements, De-Facto Relationships and Child Support.
Alex regularly appears before the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia in often complex Family Law litigation including Parenting and Property matters. He work’s with a dedicated array of specialist Forensic Accountants and Family Law Barristers to ensure that he gets the best possible result for your matter. Alex provides a clear, pragmatic and cost effective approach to the resolution of your Family Law dispute.

James Lee
Senior Associate (Specialising in Divorce and Family Law)
James has practiced family law since his admission to the legal profession. He has extensive experience in all areas of family law, from property and parenting to child support, spousal maintenance and binding financial agreements.
James is also adept at advocacy and regularly appears in the Federal Circuit and Family Court on behalf of his clients. He has close relationships with several specialist family law barristers and takes pride in ensuring his clients get the best service available.
While James is a passionate advocate for his clients, he also strongly believes in cost-effective methods of resolving matters and has had great success in mediating even complex matters.
